About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking an HVAC/R Technician I to join their team to help keep their stores running smoothly. This role involves ensuring equipment like Slurpee machines are at the correct temperature and addressing other in-store maintenance challenges. The technician will respond to service requests, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and inspect systems, manage parts inventory, and collaborate with a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance
• EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Leadership potential
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and other in-store equipment
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems using the latest tools and technology
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency
• Train and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a supportive team
