About The Position

Kelso Industries is seeking a results-driven sales professional to expand its commercial HVAC project business. This role involves selling comprehensive HVAC solutions, including design-build projects, system retrofits, replacements, and energy-efficiency upgrades. The consultant will work closely with clients to assess their operational needs and deliver customized solutions that enhance system performance, occupant comfort, and long-term efficiency. Kelso Industries is a large organization with over 3,500 professionals across 30 companies, providing HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical solutions nationwide. Requirements

  • Proven track record in HVAC sales or a related technical sales role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, products, and applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and timelines effectively
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with commercial clients, contractors, and key decision-makers
  • Identify and develop opportunities for upgrades, replacements, and new HVAC system installations
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals outlining project scope, cost, and schedules
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless project execution
  • Stay up to date on market trends, energy regulations, and emerging HVAC technologies
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales goals and support overall business growth
