HVAC Preventative Maintenance Coil Cleaning Technician (Seasonal)
About The Position
Filter Services, Inc./Mission Filtration is hiring a Seasonal Coil Cleaning Technician for the months of March-October, with the option to move to full-time employment. As a Seasonal Coil Cleaning Technician, you will travel to commercial and industrial facilities around the Chicagoland area in a company vehicle. You will perform air filter change-outs and/or use company-provided equipment to clean heating and air conditioning units (condenser/evaporator coils), commonly located on the roof of the building. We generally work weekdays, with overtime and weekends available. We offer competitive pay and pay increases for high performers. We will provide all of the training and equipment needed; you just have to be willing and able to perform the job. This is a great entry to mid-level opportunity for someone that is mechanically inclined, enjoys working outdoors or is looking for an avenue into the HVAC Industry.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Hold a valid State Driver's License with no major driving violations
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Clean criminal background
- Willing to work Weekends and Overtime as needed
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working heights
- Comfortable and willing to work in all types of weather conditions (hot days, rain, wind etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with Pressure Washing Equipment
- Experience hauling 10' x 15' Utility Trailers
- Experience driving a 16ft-20ft box truck
- Military experienced candidates
- Safety-oriented, organized, efficient
- Excellent customer service skills
- Looking to get experience in the Trades
- Previously in construction or roofing, carpentry, cable TV/ alarm installers or similar
- Mechanically inclined
