Exciting opportunity for a mid-tier HVAC / MEP Maintenance Sales Rep professional to grow and thrive in. This is a full-time field position for Early Mid career sales professional with advancement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Associates degree OR Background in HVAC, facility services industries, or property management
  • Experience with business to business sales preferred
  • Knowledge of the business environment in the Colorado Springs region
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of rapport building, sales success, and customer satisfaction & Professional image
  • Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
  • B2B sales experience primarily, selling to end users (not other contractors) – they’re selling to very high-level professional decision makers: often CEOs, Directors, Boards, building owners.
  • Experience selling services (not just projects)
  • Must be a Hunter – someone who’s used to account management or working from a book of business, portfolio of clients, dialers, client lists. They will be seeking out their own leads.
  • Experience with complex, longer-term sales cycles (not a transactional sale) – from lead generation, cold calls, to first appointments, to presentations, objection handling, proposals, and closing. Our average sales cycle is about 3 months but can be over a year from initial contact.
  • Need to be polished, professional, driven, tenacious
  • Will need working knowledge of larger equipment, such as: boilers, chillers, packaged units, VRF, CRAC and controls.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, MVR & drug test.
  • Will need B2B Sales experience, with $5MM or more in sales experience
  • Good driving record / license
  • Enthusiasm to learn & work in a fast paced, ever evolving & growing dynamic energy service field
  • Must be Professional and Polished, tactful & respectful with clients & team members regardless of their status or position, accepts responsibility for own actions, Great follow through on commitments & Effective time management skills -
  • Self-sufficient in time management, should have tools or ability to develop tools for continual efficiency & productivity
  • Must be proficient in an understanding of system design, estimating and project management for commercial equipment replacement and mechanical projects.
  • Familiarity with service is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business & client services in Mechanical Contractors & Engineers with MEP / HVAC projects & manage territory selling Refrigeration & HVAC services & agreements, warm leads provided some cold lead generation needed.
  • Initiating and coordinating entertainment and technical events for your team’s clients
  • Set & follow up on leads & referrals from current clients & generate new business
  • Will need an understanding of MEP / HVAC equipment, BAS Equipment
  • Sales / Marketing, Business Development, Client Relations, Communication
  • Technical Understanding, Leadership, Teamwork, Relationship Management
