Requirements

• High School or GED.
• 3 - 5 years Experience in the building maintenance or plant operations field, preferably Healthcare.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral & written), interpersonal and organization skills.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Technical Diploma/Appropriate Trade/Vocation School Graduate.
• Current NYS CFC refrigerant license.
• Valid Medical Gas Installer Certification
• Newly Hired employees will Have one year from their date of Hire to obtain the Medical Gas Installer certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs to medical gas system equipment and components.
• Able to troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration related problems and issues and perform the necessary repairs or corrective measures.
• Performs repairs to HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment correctly with attention to detail and no callbacks.
• Demonstrates proficiency and skill in working with various varieties of HVAC equipment, tools and materials.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance as assigned on HVAC and/or refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Performs repairs to pneumatic tube system as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned
