About The Position

Perfect Game USA, a leader in amateur baseball events, is looking for Field Manager Interns for Fall 2026. This role involves scoring games using DiamondKast software, managing substitutions, noting player performance, overseeing umpires and grounds crew, and capturing video of top performers for social media. The intern will be the primary Perfect Game representative at their assigned field, ensuring field readiness, umpire presence, and team preparedness. Punctuality is essential to ensure games start on time.

Requirements

Solid understanding of baseball fundamentals and gameplay.
Experience playing Baseball/Softball is a plus.
Experience in scouting and/or scorekeeping is a plus.
Playing or coaching background is a plus.

Responsibilities

Score and complete each game using DiamondKast software.
Record every play, substitution change, and pitch using the DiamondKast application on the provided iPad.
Take scouting notes and record content of top performing athletes.
Ensure smooth operation at the assigned field.
Confirm the field is prepared for play, coordinating with the grounds crew if necessary.
Verify the presence of umpires on the property before games.
Confirm the readiness of both teams to start play at the designated time.
Ensure all games start on time.
Present yourself in a professional manner with customers, players, staff, and scouts at all times.
