About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and systems. The role involves maintaining the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment, including electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes, auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.), chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment programs, air handler units, VAVs, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines, and boiler operations.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 3 years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience.
• 1 year of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program (for systems that include BAS controls).
• EPA – Universal Certification
• Valid state issued driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500

• Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program
