About The Position
Wade Heating, Cooling, and Refrigeration is seeking an HVAC Lead Installer for their Leetsdale, PA location, serving the metro Pittsburgh area. This role involves installing equipment according to a service schedule, troubleshooting issues, and educating clients on their HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heating and cooling systems, experience installing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment, and at least 3 years of experience running residential HVAC installs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with 1 year of experience training or mentoring
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10-hour Certificate preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform installation of residential HVAC, including Water heaters, PV Water Heaters, Humidifiers, Dryer Vents, and Dehumidifiers.
- Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns
- Help train new hires in the field during installations
- Ensure the HVAC equipment that was installed is clean, safe, and up to high standards before departure.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required by the job.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
