About The Position

Haynes Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Lead Installer to lead jobs, manage a crew, and deliver high-quality HVAC installations. This role is designed for high-performing installers who are rewarded for productivity, quality, and leadership through a performance-based pay structure. Requirements

• 3–7+ years HVAC install experience
• Proven ability to lead install crews
• Strong knowledge of wiring, airflow, and install practices
• EPA Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to train and develop other techs

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete residential/light commercial HVAC installs
• Ensure installs are completed correctly the first time (no callbacks)
• Mentor and develop junior installers and apprentices
• Install air handlers, condensers, furnaces, heat pumps
• Install refrigerant lines (brazing/soldering)
• Install duct systems (sheet metal, flex, duct board)
• Install gas piping connections
• Wire low and high voltage HVAC systems properly
• Ensure installs meet code and manufacturer specifications
• Manage materials and ensure job readiness
• Complete install checklists and documentation
• Track materials used for job costing
• Coordinate with dispatch on job completion or follow-ups
