As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our team and help lead successful installation projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or HVAC certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of HVAC installation experience required.
  • Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, airflow, and installation best practices.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage installation projects efficiently.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must have own hand tools; company provides specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform installations of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and ductwork.
  • Supervise and train installation helpers and junior installers on proper installation procedures and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and installation instructions.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards.
  • Remove and dispose of old HVAC equipment safely and properly.
  • Verify system performance through testing, startup procedures, and final inspections.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients regarding installation timelines, equipment operation, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, installation checklists, and inventory records using company systems.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and management teams to ensure materials and equipment are available for scheduled jobs.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting installation-related issues and warranty concerns as needed.
