About The Position

Champion & Nash HVAC is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to lead install teams. This role involves instructing teams, executing professional installations of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and ensuring work is done properly, safely, and to company standards while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position reporting to the General Manager and based out of the Pasadena office (Houston, TX). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field experience, strong communication skills, enjoys training apprentices, and is dedicated to getting the job done right the first time.

Requirements

5+ years of field experience
Active Driver’s License
Tech Savvy - The ability to use tablets and learn work-related software with ease
Verifiable experience to develop quotations for repairs and installations of replacement equipment
Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
Proven ability in installing, replacing, and serving HVAC systems in new residential and commercial properties
Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or on-call shifts when needed

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers.
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation units.
Maintain proper inventory, parts, tools, and knowledge of appropriate safety equipment in the vehicle.
Mentor and train apprentices on the job and provide them with learning opportunities.
Diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer’s recommendations.
Provide excellent customer service to resolve technical, logistical, and scheduling issues.
Perform quality work with honesty and diligence, following company procedures and values.
