About The Position

E.R. Services is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for installing residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components while ensuring all installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by completing high-quality installations that improve home comfort, efficiency, and reliability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycle, airflow principles, and electrical components.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Section 608 Certification.
  • NATE Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience installing high-efficiency HVAC systems.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software.

Responsibilities

  • Install residential HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, mini-splits, and ductwork.
  • Remove and properly dispose of existing HVAC equipment while preparing job sites for new installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and work orders.
  • Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, electrical connections, gas piping, duct systems, thermostats, and ventilation components.
  • Perform system start-up, testing, balancing, and commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot installation-related issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain compliance with local codes, manufacturer specifications, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding installation progress and system operation.
  • Complete installation documentation accurately.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Support warehouse organization and assist other installation crews as needed.
