About The Position

Air Handlers OBX is an established, full-service heating and air conditioning company servicing the entire Outer Banks. AHOBX is seeking a full-time, year-round HVAC Installer to join its team. Applicants must be hard-working, goal oriented with a commitment to team success. Customer service is a must. The HVAC Installer provides homeowners and guests with the highest level of satisfaction, ensuring continuous delivery of excellence in HVAC services.

Requirements

Valid Driver's license for a minimum of 3 years, clean Motor Vehicle Record
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
Basic computer skills, strong organizational skills
Able to pass background with clear and favorable results
Reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

All service/installation experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Provides homeowners and guests with the highest level of satisfaction, ensuring continuous delivery of excellence in HVAC services.
Follow OSHA requirements, safety precautions per company procedures and policies.
Sit, stand, bend, walk use hands and fingers to control objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and see/access.
Lift 50 pounds individually, unassisted, and up to 100 pounds with assistance (dollies, hand trucks, additional persons) on a regular and daily basis.
Complete forms, read reports, and visually determine the correct working order of physical aspect of units and other property facilities.
Operate basic tools and equipment.
Use a smart phone, tablet, or similar electronic device.
Work in attics or crawl spaces.
Climb flights of steps inside and out.
Maneuver a vehicle in congested traffic.
