About The Position
Rocket Cooling is a fast-growing HVAC company serving Southwest Florida, built by two entrepreneurs with a vision to raise the standard of service in the industry. While our Naples office is new, Rocket Cooling is not. We have been serving customers throughout the region for years and are continuing to invest in the Naples market with dedicated leadership, local support, and a long-term commitment to growth. We focus on delivering a high-end customer experience through knowledgeable technicians, clean professional installations, strong communication, and modern technology. Our team uses ServiceTitan to document work, capture photos, and provide transparency throughout the customer experience. We are not a large corporate operation with layers of red tape. Our installers have the support, equipment, and organization they need to succeed and take pride in their work.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years HVAC installation experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to complete installs independently and efficiently
- EPA Certification
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software preferred
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and digital documentation tools in the field
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship
Nice To Haves
- Experience installing Trane systems, including communicating equipment and controls
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi, Ruud, Comfortmaker, Carrier, Daikin, and Lennox equipment
- Strong understanding of airflow, static pressure, commissioning, and system setup
- Experience with high-end residential installations is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems including split systems, heat pumps, package units, and ductless mini-split systems
- Execute clean, high-quality installs with strong attention to detail
- Ensure proper airflow, duct transitions, and overall system performance
- Set up, commission, and test equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Configure communicating systems, thermostats, and controls when applicable
- Utilize ServiceTitan to document installs, upload photos, record completed work, and provide clear job documentation
- Capture before, during, and after photos to verify quality and communicate the value of the work performed
- Maintain clean and organized job sites from start to finish
- Communicate with the office and team to keep jobs on schedule
- Maintain company vehicle organization and readiness
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
