About The Position

Assembly and installation of HVAC ducting. This role involves performing the required procedures of assembly and installation of heat duct. It requires the reading of a tape measure to 1/16”, understanding of blueprints and production orders, and the ability to use various tools and equipment such as staple and nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and hoists. The job also includes prepping duct by reading prints, cutting flex duct to length, fastening to the proper boot from the print with zip ties and tape, running main duct out with an extruder machine to the proper length, and installing blocks under flex.

Requirements

Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.
Understanding of blueprints and production orders.
Ability to use staple and nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, hoists and other equipment as required by the specific job.
Ability to prep duct by reading print and cutting flex duct to length and fastening to proper boot from print with zip ties and tape.
Ability to run main duct out with extruder machine to proper length.
Ability to install blocks under flex.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
