About The Position

Mechanical Resource Group (MRG) is looking for an HVAC Installer. The Installer assumes day-to-day coordination of retrofit HVAC projects as assigned to assure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost-effective manner. Requirements

• 5-7 years’ experience installing HVAC and/or Hydronics.
• Experience with welding and/or pipefitting
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret plans and manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• A valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and be able and willing to operate company-owned vehicles.
• A collaborative approach, personal accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers.
• Travel to job sites in a service area, and work with project managers to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
• Perform required documentation for each install, recording recommendations, accurate readings, and observations. Have client sign necessary paperwork.
• Catch quality issues early and speak up when something needs to be corrected.
• Ability to make ethical and responsible decisions while keeping the customer and our company interests in mind.
