Requirements
- At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA Certified required.
- A valid driver's license with at least 3 years of US driving experience is required for this role.
- Registered with TDLR is a plus but not required.
- Be able to remove and install all types of HVAC equipment (gas split systems, heat pumps, package units, mini splits to name a few).
- Must have experience with installing low voltage controls including those used on communicating equipment.
- Be able to overcome installation obstacles in order to get the job done correctly.
- Have knowledge of mechanical code and ensure all jobs pass city inspection.
- Be a good teacher to help apprentice grow in the company.
- Have good time management and project planning to reduce time on jobs and trips to supply house.
- You have to be able to work in hot attics for extended periods and in some tight and uncomfortable spaces.
- Be well organized with tools and materials to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
- Have good communication skills with customers and management.
- Must have on hand tools.
- A2l certified is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units.
- Design and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping.
- Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.
- Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.
