About The Position

Heartland Home Service is seeking an HVAC Install Technician to complete tear out of old HVAC equipment and installation of new systems. The technician will test newly installed systems to ensure proper operation, air flow, and refrigerant charge. This role involves collaborating with team members to coordinate installations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects. Adherence to safety procedures and regulations is crucial, as is providing exceptional customer service by answering client questions, explaining system operation, and offering maintenance and energy-saving tips. Detailing of job orders to accurately document all work performed is also required.

Requirements

  • 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred, but not required
  • Able to pass a driving record check and maintain a clean driving record
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subsequent, periodic drug screening (including for marijuana)
  • Hold OSHA and EPA certifications or willing to obtain
