About The Position

As an HVAC Lead-Install/Service, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional HVAC installation services to our valued residential clients while leading a team of installers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid HVAC installer license or certification.
  • Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Installer, including lead or supervisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using HVAC tools, equipment, and testing devices.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of Residential Service HVAC Installers in the installation, retrofitting, and replacement of HVAC systems in residential properties.
  • Coordinate and oversee installation projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
  • Interpret HVAC blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients and provide expert recommendations on equipment selection, system design, and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing HVAC systems, determine installation requirements, and identify potential challenges.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Install, connect, and test HVAC components, including air handlers, condensers, ductwork, thermostats, and refrigerant lines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues, making necessary adjustments and modifications as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior installers, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and efficient installation techniques.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of installation activities, including equipment specifications, system configurations, and any modifications made during the installation process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in the HVAC field.
