HVAC Install Field Supervisor
About The Position
The HVAC Field Install Supervisor will lead and support the installation team to ensure high-quality work, efficient operations, and an exceptional customer experience while developing the team to perform at their best. This role involves leading, mentoring, and developing Lead Installers, Install Assistants, and Apprentices. The supervisor will provide daily field support, including ride-alongs, hands-on coaching, and technical guidance. They will oversee installation quality through job reviews, audits, and performance evaluations, ensuring jobs are completed accurately by reviewing contracts, equipment, and materials. The role also includes tracking team performance metrics, partnering with leadership to improve results, resolving customer concerns related to installations, and enforcing safety standards, company policies, and local code compliance. The supervisor will step in to lead operations when the Installation Manager is unavailable.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on experience as a residential HVAC Installer
- Proven track record of crew leadership
- EPA Universal
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to make sound decisions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities while communicating clearly with customers, installers, and teams
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop Lead Installers, Install Assistants, and Apprentices
- Provide daily field support, including ride-alongs, hands-on coaching, and technical guidance

- Ensure jobs are completed accurately by reviewing contracts, equipment, and materials
- Track team performance metrics and partner with leadership to improve results
- Resolve customer concerns related to installations in a timely and professional manner
- Enforce safety standards, company policies, and local code compliance
- Step in to lead operations when the Installation Manager is unavailable
- Coach Install Technicians and apprentices on proper installation techniques, company processes, and customer service
- Conduct on-site spot checks, lead field coaching sessions, and assist with performance evaluations
