Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation equipment.
Support the lead technician in measuring, cutting, and installing ductwork according to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area during installations to ensure safety and efficiency.
Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC installations.
Help in the proper setup and use of tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installations.
Participate in the testing of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with local codes.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving installation issues under the supervision of a senior technician.
Load and unload materials and equipment for HVAC installation projects.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in HVAC installation techniques.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Document and report any installation challenges or discrepancies to the lead technician.
