About The Position

SALT Service Co. is seeking a dependable and motivated IAQ Installer Helper to assist its HVAC team with indoor air quality installations, duct cleaning, HVAC system cleaning, and ductwork replacement. This hands-on role offers an opportunity to develop skills in the HVAC industry through training and mentorship. The helper supports technicians with installation and maintenance work, prepares job sites and equipment, and provides professional service in customers’ homes. The position involves working in residential areas such as attics and crawl spaces and performing physical work throughout the day.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn indoor air quality products, installation techniques, and HVAC procedures.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential work areas as required.
• Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical work throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• Previous HVAC, ductwork, or construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential air duct cleaning and indoor air quality services.
• Help clean HVAC systems and components to improve system cleanliness and performance.
• Assist with removing and replacing existing ductwork.
• Support the installation of indoor air quality (IAQ) packages and equipment.
• Prepare job sites, organize tools, and ensure equipment is ready for each installation.
• Assist HVAC technicians with installations, maintenance, and other assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and installation standards.
• Provide professional and courteous service while working in customers’ homes.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the IAQ Installer or HVAC management team.
