About The Position

We are actively seeking dependable and hardworking HVAC Helpers for immediate openings in the Nashville area. No HVAC experience? No problem. If you're motivated, reliable, and eager to learn a skilled trade, we want to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced HVAC Technicians while learning the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Qualified candidates can start quickly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and vendors, as well as to understand safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working at heights throughout the workday.
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, attics, crawl spaces, confined spaces, dust, and construction environments.
  • Moderate to loud noise levels are common.
  • Required to wear and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous construction, mechanical, or HVAC experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC Technicians with the installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, and components.
  • Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Load and unload supplies and prepare work areas.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems and job sites.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork using hand and power tools.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and building codes.
  • Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles when authorized and properly licensed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
