About The Position

Voda Home Services Corporate is seeking a driven and experienced HVAC General Manager to lead operations from its Madison, Wisconsin location. The role will lead a new company as it builds a growing team, drives performance, and expands in the HVAC industry. The General Manager oversees daily operations, team leadership, business growth, financial performance, regulatory compliance, customer and vendor relationships, and coordination of service and installation workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC operations, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, service, and repair best practices.
• Proven track record of profit-and-loss management and business development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Experience with service management software and scheduling tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• EPA 608 Certification; additional HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HVAC operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and manage HVAC technicians, service teams, and support staff.
• Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and expand market share.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and profit-and-loss responsibilities for the HVAC division.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management for service and installation teams.
