About The Position

Quality Heating & Air is seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman to lead field crews and oversee day-to-day job site operations. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal installation, and applicable building codes
Experience measuring and laying out ductwork
Ability to read and understand submittments and specifications
Proven experience as an HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman or similar leadership role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency

Responsibilities

Ensure all required materials and equipment are on-site to complete assigned projects
Verify that crew members have the proper tools needed for their work
Manage daily schedules to ensure project timelines are met
Attend and actively participate in job site meetings
Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and delays
Obtain approval from the Superintendent or office before proceeding with change orders or additional work
Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all projects
Monitor crew productivity and ensure work stays on schedule
Follow sheet metal shop drawings to ensure proper installation and accuracy
Enforce all company safety policies and job site regulations
Maintain a professional and respectful work environment
Address and resolve employee conflicts; escalate ongoing issues to management when necessary
Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to each team member
Manage employee breaks and ensure compliance with company policies
Contact the office for approval prior to authorizing overtime (OT)
Evaluate crew performance and provide feedback as needed
