Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in monitoring, logging, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment in an industrial facility environment.
  • Able to utilize a building automation system to adjust parameters, monitor alarms, and enable or rotate equipment.
  • Very familiar with the preventative maintenance and service and operation of base building environmental systems.
  • High School diploma / GED required.
  • EPA/CFC Certified
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Successful Completion of Background and drug Screening (no criminal charges).
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently climb ladders at intervals of 6ft, 8ft, and 10 ft, occasionally 24ft.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on: Centrifugal Chillers, Variable Frequency Drives, Pumps, Air Handlers, Cooling Towers, Variable Air Volume Boxes – Fan Power Boxes, Exhaust – Supply Fans, Condenser Water – Chilled Water Chemical Treatment, Mechanical Cooling – Package Equipment, Ice Machines, 3 Phase 480 Volts
  • Adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Perform daily Hot and Cold Calls
  • Pay close attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Be punctual when reporting to and from work, responding to service requests, completing all work-related documentation, work-orders, and all other job-related tasks.
  • Perform daily walk-throughs, logs, and document findings.
  • Trouble-shoot HVAC equipment as well as utilize refrigerant gauges and digital multi-meter.
  • Log detailed and thorough Records of Maintenance performed and all other necessary documentation daily, submitting to management as requested.
  • Effectively communicate each day with on-site engineers via text, email, and/or radio to ensure all issues are known by all parties.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and control diagrams.
  • Coordinate appropriately with general contractors as well as sub contactors.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks effectively and complete them within the designated assigned month.
  • Communicate with customers and ATFT staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Update and accurately enter information in mobile field technology.
  • Flexible in working overtime and other projects when needed.
  • Proactive with assignments
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities and functions as directed by management.
  • Participate in the weekly on-call rotation and work overtime hours as needed to meet job requirements.
