About The Position

Our HVAC Technician is tasked with repairing, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment, such as thermostats, furnaces, air ducts, and more. Ensures the proper maintenance, installation and operation of HVAC equipment throughout the property. May function as a mentor for Level l Facilities Engineer-HVAC. Always takes the appropriate steps to properly charge refrigeration systems and safely handle refrigerant.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma; required.
• A valid NYS driver’s license; required
• 3 years or related experience and a Heating/AC Certificate (EPA Certification); required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with diplomacy and objectivity.
• The ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the proper maintenance, installation and operation of HVAC equipment throughout the property.

• Always takes the appropriate steps to properly charge refrigeration systems and safely handle refrigerant.
