About The Position

Openwork is hiring an experienced HVAC Electrical Wiring Assembler for a growing manufacturing company in Stafford, TX. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on electrical wiring or assembly experience who can read schematics and takes pride in accurate, quality work. You'll help assemble and wire electrical systems and controls used in commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous electrical assembly or wiring experience.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Basic understanding of AC and DC electrical systems.
Experience with wire preparation, crimping, and electrical terminations.
Ability to use multimeters and continuity testers.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and ability to work well with a team.

Nice To Haves

Commercial or industrial HVAC equipment wiring.
HVAC electrical controls and components.
Electrical control panel assembly.
PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automated controls.
Electrical troubleshooting.
NEC or industrial electrical practices.
Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience.

Responsibilities

Install and wire electrical components in HVAC equipment.
Route, secure, label, and terminate wires, harnesses, and cables
Install relays, transformers, circuit breakers, sensors, control boards, PLCs, and VFDs.
Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures.
Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires.
Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, and engineering drawings.
Perform visual inspections and basic electrical testing.
Conduct continuity checks and verify wiring accuracy.
Identify wiring or component issues and assist with troubleshooting
Complete required production and inspection documentation.
