About The Position

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job. Reads electrical blueprints and performs electrical wiring tasks based on blueprints, electrical layout diagrams and models of electrical components. Determines terminal block component specifications and creates terminal blocks according to terminal block diagrams. Creates wiring diagrams for electrical control cabinets and connecting units based on electrical blueprints. Adheres to manufacturing work instructions and quality requirements. Performs quality checks on electrical components at certain points throughout the operations. Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area. Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of electrical experience
• Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics and diagrams
• Working knowledge of electrical theory and associated principles, materials and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
