About The Position

The HVAC Dispatcher is responsible for managing incoming service calls, scheduling appointments, and dispatching technicians efficiently. This role involves providing customers with updates, supporting technicians, monitoring routes, and maintaining accurate records. The position also assists with administrative tasks such as billing and reporting. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer service (HVAC or home services preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to stay calm and solutions-oriented in fast-paced or urgent situations
Comfortable using dispatch or scheduling software and general computer systems
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
At least 18 years of age
At least three years of safe driving experience
Ability to pass background check
High school diploma or equivalent
Authorized to work in the US for any employer

Responsibilities

Answer incoming service calls and schedule appointments promptly
Dispatch technicians to jobs based on skills, availability, and location
Provide customers with scheduling updates, delays, and job status information
Support technicians throughout the day with job details and clear communication
Monitor routes and workloads to maximize efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with service managers to resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize urgent calls
Maintain accurate service records, work orders and documentation in company systems
Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, invoicing, and reporting when needed
