About The Position

Clay's Climate Control, now an Ace Hardware Company, is seeking an HVAC Dispatcher to join their team. You will be the central communication hub, managing field schedules, coordinating projects, interacting with customers, and ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Two years of customer service and/or field service logistics experience.
  • Strong Computer skills – MS Office, database management, etc.
  • Clear, confident, & effective communicator over the phone (with customers) and in person (with team).
  • Strategic thinker who possesses the ability to anticipate problems and find solutions.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Good time-management, possessing the ability to balance priorities.
  • Self-starter and able to work successfully without supervision.
  • Competitive, ambitious and results oriented, energized by achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Close vision, distance vision.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred two years of experience in home services/construction.
  • ServiceTitan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage field schedules, assign jobs to technicians, and optimize routing.
  • Handle administrative tasks for ongoing projects, including permits and inspection scheduling.
  • Answer phones and inbound emails, acting as the central communication hub for field technicians.
  • Address client inquiries online and over the phone, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of job statuses and client databases.
  • Coordinate rapid responses for emergency or last-minute service requests.
  • Utilize Service Titan software and communication tools to optimize operations.
  • Work with field technicians to ensure positive customer relations.
  • Perform data entry, including entering purchase orders and preparing estimates and invoices.
