This role is focused on advanced troubleshooting, accurate system diagnostics, quality repairs, and helping homeowners understand what is happening with their heating and cooling systems. Requirements

  • Experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to accurately interpret system readings and diagnostic information.
  • Knowledge of HVAC safety practices and code requirements.
  • Experience working with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to homeowners.
  • A commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues using technical knowledge, system readings, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
  • Identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
  • Perform corrective repairs and maintenance to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Evaluate system operation and identify potential issues before they become larger problems.
  • Clearly explain diagnostic findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
  • Educate customers on proper system operation, maintenance, and care.
  • Complete accurate documentation of diagnostics, repairs, materials used, system readings, and equipment performance.
  • Follow all safety procedures, HVAC codes, and company standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a respectful, high-quality customer experience in every home.
  • Continue developing your technical knowledge as HVAC technology and equipment evolve.
