About The Position

Munters Corporation is seeking an HVAC Design Engineer to join its Research & Development team in Daleville, Virginia. The role focuses on developing next-generation cooling technology, including two-phase direct-to-chip cooling solutions for data centers and AI computing. The engineer will help turn concepts into tested, reliable, production-ready systems and support product development from initial design through manufacturing release. The position involves designing HVAC, refrigeration, and two-phase cooling equipment; creating engineering specifications, bills of materials, design documentation, and prototypes; and applying thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration principles to improve performance. The engineer will build and test prototypes, analyze performance data, troubleshoot technical issues, develop test plans, document results, and support design verification and product validation. The role also works closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to resolve technical challenges and improve product reliability. The position is based in Daleville, VA, with travel of 10% or less.
