HVAC Design Engineer
About The Position
We are hiring an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to design and oversee energy -efficient, high -performing HVAC systems. The role involves performing load calculations, creating detailed system designs (including ductwork, piping, and controls), preparing drawings and specifications, selecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with building and energy codes. The engineer will collaborate closely with sales, project management, estimators, and installation teams to deliver cost -effective, buildable solutions. Responsibilities also include providing technical support during construction, participating in value engineering efforts, recommending energy -saving improvements, and helping develop internal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- 3–5+ years of HVAC design experience
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Carrier HAP, or Trane Trace
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
