About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking a HVAC Construction Administration Specialist for an upcoming project opportunity: Design Services for HVAC Renovation Projects. This role involves executing the full scope of construction administration for HVAC renovation projects within multiple Johnston County Public Schools. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing submittals and RFIs, coordinating site observations, managing changes, schedules, contractor interfaces, and closeout documentation. Additionally, they will ensure site readiness, mobilization, access, safety, sequencing, and coordination of materials, equipment, and outages. The role requires executing and documenting installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities according to approved requirements, while maintaining detailed records of daily production, labor, materials, custody, safety, inspections, issues, and changes. The specialist will also be responsible for testing, punch-list resolution, reconciliation, turnover documentation, training, and client acceptance. A key aspect of the role is tracing assigned work back to the RFP scope, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, acceptance criteria, schedule milestones, and supporting evidence. This includes reviewing solicitation materials, documenting assumptions, open items, risks, and client decisions, and preparing role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence. Coordination with various workstreams such as project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations is essential. Maintaining status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records, and escalating blockers proactively are also critical functions.
