Comfort Systems of Montana is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Comfort Advisor who puts people over profits and is dedicated to earning customers for life. In this consultative sales role, you'll serve as a trusted expert, educating homeowners on HVAC systems, energy savings, indoor comfort solutions, and maintenance best practices while building long-term customer relationships. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in HVAC sales, exceptional communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Our goal isn't simply to sell equipment. Requirements

  • Proven sales track record within the HVAC industry.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of HVAC sales experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and comfort solutions.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
  • Strong consultative sales skills focused on solving problems and building trust.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
  • Experience using CRM software, proposal systems, and sales tracking tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout Southwest Montana.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and recommend HVAC solutions.
  • Educate homeowners on system options, rebates, financing opportunities, energy-efficiency incentives, and long-term ownership costs.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and estimates, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers by providing a trusted and professional experience.
  • Follow up with potential and existing customers to nurture relationships, close sales, and confirm satisfaction.
  • Offer and educate customers on add-on products including indoor air quality systems, humidifiers, smart thermostats, UV lights, air purification systems, and other comfort-enhancing solutions.
  • Ensure installation teams are equipped with the information and resources needed for successful project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with service technicians, installers, and office staff to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with customers and internal teams throughout the sales and installation process.
  • Stay informed on the latest HVAC technologies, products, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions through company CRM systems.
  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and seamless customer handoffs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after installation.
  • Represent Comfort Systems of Montana with professionalism, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction.
