About The Position

Gustave A. Larson is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies. The Larson Account Manager ensures excellent customer service, proactively increases sales and profits utilizing a local market team approach and serving as an integral member with both the sales and operations teams to satisfy customer business needs. The Inside Sales Account Manager is a vital part of the sales team, responsible for nurturing and growing existing customer accounts, acquiring new ones, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role requires an individual to work predominantly within an office environment, using telecommunications and digital methods to reach out to customers, understand their needs, and sell products or services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years account management or sales experience or related education required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software as well as other sales-related tool, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, preferably P21.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous HVAC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Proactively engage with customers, offering support, information, and guidance.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Upselling and cross-selling products or services when appropriate.
  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their needs and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products or services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.
  • Track sales metrics and report results to sales leadership on a regular basis.
  • Use data to help forecast future sales trends and plan strategically.
  • Work closely with Territory Managers on customer execution.
  • Collaborate with departments, such as marketing and counter sales, to improve the overall customer experience and sales process.
  • Identify and address client concerns promptly, escalating issues to management as necessary.
