About The Position

The Technician will be responsible for supporting Chemical Technicians for day-to-day operations in a PSM-Compliant Chemical Plant. This role involves assisting and supporting the set-up and tear-down of chemical equipment in a high-volume, batch production environment, as well as the re-build of chemical process components. The technician will also package and move finished materials to the shipment area, conduct routine maintenance and operation of process systems and equipment, and perform work practices with safety and quality in mind in a 24/7 production environment. Additionally, the role requires completing required business and regulatory process documentation, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment, and ensuring facility equipment and inventory/consumable levels are accurate. Participation in quality and continuous improvement projects, effective communication with peers, management, and external stakeholders, and utilization of business software such as ERP and quality/EHS software are also key aspects of this position. The role requires the ability to work second shift/night shifts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and actively engage in quality and continuous improvement projects
