About The Position
As the VBSPCA Humane Education Coordinator, you are part of an enthusiastic, professional and mission-driven team. You will coordinate humane education programs and initiatives to further the VBSPCA mission, engage young audiences, promote responsible pet ownership, and teach the community how to interact with animals in a compassionate and considerate way. You’ll work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer in identifying and participating in youth activities, literacy programs, and online/digital educational experiences.
Requirements
- Creative detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for animal welfare.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with youth, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with several internal and external partners.
- Ability to coordinate program initiatives.
- Ability to engage with compassionate kids.
Responsibilities
