About The Position

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan is expanding its In-Home Recovery Services (IHRS) team and is seeking a Human Services Professional to support clients in the Wausau community enrolled in Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) or the Community Support Program (CSP) through Northcentral Healthcare. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about mental health recovery, community-based care, and making a significant impact on the lives of others. It is a full-time, benefit-eligible position on the second shift, with a schedule anticipated to be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other weekend, from 2 PM to 10 PM. Hours worked during evenings or weekends include an additional $1.50/hour differential, bringing the hourly rate to $26/hour. A $1000 sign-on bonus is also offered.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field (required for CCS)
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Proficient in computer systems and electronic health records
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in community environments and responding to crises

Responsibilities

Provide medication management support in homes, schools, offices, or community settings
Participate in recovery teams and contribute to service planning
Maintain accurate documentation and client records
Collaborate with clients, families, and service teams to implement interventions
Apply knowledge of counseling, casework, and community resources
Testify in legal proceedings when required
Attend staff development, training, and supervision sessions
Work a flexible schedule based on client needs (evenings/weekends included)
