About The Position

The Human Services Facilities Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations, safety, and functionality of program facilities. This role ensures that activity areas, common spaces, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and accessible condition for program participants and staff. The specialist assists with room setup for programs and events, performs routine facility checks, coordinates basic maintenance needs, and works collaboratively with staff to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants. The position also helps monitor facility usage, reports repair needs, and supports operational tasks that contribute to high quality services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Intermediate computer and math skills

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
