Human Service Worker at Receiving Center - Part Time
About The Position
Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Receiving Center in Provo, Utah, where you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health crises. In this onsite role, you will work closely with clients in need of immediate care, helping create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment while assisting with crisis stabilization and daily support services. This position offers a competitive wage of $16.49–$20.90/hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
- Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
Nice To Haves
- Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
- Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
- Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
