About The Position

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Vantage Point Youth Crisis Center in Provo, Utah. In this onsite, on-call role, you will provide direct support and supervision to youth ages 10–17 who are experiencing mental health and behavioral health crises, including suicidal ideation, family conflict, homelessness, abuse or neglect, substance use, and emotional or behavioral challenges. This position offers a competitive wage of $16.49–$20.90/hour , depending on experience and qualifications. As a Human Service Worker, you will play a vital role in helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where youth can stabilize, feel heard, and begin the path toward healing. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, calm under pressure, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable youth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
  • Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
  • Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
