About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented, organized, and people-focused individual? Culver’s of Onalaska is looking for a part-time Human Resources Team Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant support team, you will focus on creating great experiences for applicants in the hiring process, effectively welcoming new team members in the onboarding process, and maintain great relationships with current team members. Requirements

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and passion for accuracy
  • Ability to work independently to meet expectations
  • Personable demeanor and able to build connections with others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills using multiple means of communication
  • Proficient using a computer. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Google Applications such as Gmail and Google Drive
  • Ability to learn new software such as those used for hiring and payroll
  • Willing to take on new tasks as assigned
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Assists candidates within the hiring process
  • Makes a great first impression with potential candidates
  • Screen potential candidates through virtual interviews
  • Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions
  • Coordinate hiring process between candidates and the General Manager
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates
  • Assists new team members through the onboarding process
  • Make a great first impression with new team members
  • Conduct thorough orientations with new team members and adapt each presentation to accommodate different learning styles to maximize effectiveness
  • Ensure new team members understand company policies and procedures
  • Introduce new team members to our team
  • Manage uniforms inventory and ensure timely delivery and properly fitting of uniforms
  • Complete all new team member documentation
  • Prepare payroll reports
  • Update team member information and handle payroll adjustments
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Verify and maintain team member paid time off
  • Verify all necessary new hire paperwork, including contracts and tax forms, is completed on time
  • For all existing team members, maintain accurate and up-to-date team member records
  • Conduct team member survey and analyze data
  • Off-board team members and file necessary paperwork
