About The Position

As an Human Resources Student Employee, you will gain hands-on experience providing human resources support and case resolution within our HR Shared Service Center (HRSC). You will assist in HR functions contributing to the efficiency of our HR operations. This role is located in Milwaukee, WI and does not provide relocation assistance. You must be located within 50 miles of our Headquarters building in Milwaukee, WI. This role will need to be able to work full-time during the summer and continue part-time throughout the school year.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Responsibilities

  • Help provide human resources consultation and case resolution for HRSC cases.
  • Be a contact for employees and managers, resolving inquiries and partnering with Tier II Specialists, HRBP/HRG, or COE for specialty requests.
  • Support employees and managers with questions regarding HR policies, and navigating HR systems such as Workday.
  • Provide data entry support for employees through the self-service portal.
  • Fulfill document management requests.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and manage inquiries through Workday Help
  • Receive, route, and help resolve HR inquiries within your specialty or assignment.
  • Support areas such as hiring and onboarding, employee data changes, continuous improvement, and more.
  • Maintain employee documentation - personnel file creation, retention, and deletion.
  • Contribute to diverse projects, including development projects, data analysis for insights, AI , Automation and others assigned.

Benefits

  • Base Salary Compensation is from $20-32/hourly.
