About The Position
Join the U.S. Army Reserve team as a part-time Human Resource Specialist Soldier with full-time benefits. You may be eligible for service in the Army as an Enlisted Soldier or an Army Officer in your spare time in the Suffolk area. A human resources specialist is responsible for providing support that affects Soldiers’ overall welfare and well-being while assisting leaders with keeping Soldiers combat-ready and effective.
Requirements
- Must have an interest in joining the Army.
- 17 to 34 years old.
- Must be able to meet height/weight requirements
- No tattoos on hands, face, or above the neck (ring tattoos are acceptable).
- No history of a felony level offense or DUI.
- No major medical procedures that would prohibit you from service

Responsibilities
- Assist on all human resource support matters
- Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
- Responsible for the readiness, health and welfare of all Soldiers.
- Postal and personnel accountability support
- Maintain emergency notification data
