About The Position

Serving as a full-time soldier in the U.S. Army as a mechanic offers a unique opportunity to change your life, help others, and have fun. This entry-level position requires enlistment into the Army and provides valuable problem-solving and leadership skills that are in high demand nationwide. You will have unique opportunities to advance your career while making a difference globally. The job training involves 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including on-the-job instruction, with a combination of classroom and field work.

Requirements

  • Requires enlistment into the Army
  • Entry level (no experience)
  • Must have valid Driver’s License
  • Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher
  • U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident or greencard holder
  • Submit to background and medical screening
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Work authorization: United States (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably 17 to 34 years old

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive vehicles as position requires
  • Attend paid Basic and advanced training
  • Complete ASVAB
