About The Position

Amarr, a part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Human Resources Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Winston Salem, NC. In this role, you will provide critical administrative and operational support across a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and benefits administration. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with systems and data, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to employees and leadership.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required (Human Resources or related field preferred)
  • 1–3 years of office experience required; HR experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Forms
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors highly preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Ability to travel between Winston-Salem and Mocksville locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless employee experience
  • Complete and manage I-9 verification, compliance tracking, and documentation
  • Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and internal communications
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and other systems
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
  • Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics to support workforce planning and compliance
  • Support payroll processes by validating employee data and coordinating with payroll
  • Create and deliver internal communications including job postings, announcements, and updates
  • Maintain HR SharePoint content and internal communication platforms
  • Coordinate training sessions, engagement initiatives, and HR-related events
  • Assist with performance management processes and documentation tracking
  • Support employee engagement programs, including recognition initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment laws and policies
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and HR support
