About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Human Resources professional who is passionate about recruiting outstanding employees, developing people, strengthening culture, and helping build an organization where employees choose to stay and grow. This isn't a traditional HR position focused solely on policies and paperwork. You'll be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for attracting great talent, creating an outstanding employee experience, maintaining compliance, and continuously improving how we support our team. Requirements

  • Five or more years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience recruiting hourly employees
  • Experience with employee relations and performance management
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills

Nice To Haves

  • Home Care, Home Health, Healthcare, or Senior Living experience
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification
  • Experience with Hireology, WellSky, Infiniti HR, or similar platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts for caregivers and office employees
  • Manage our Hireology recruiting platform and applicant pipeline
  • Source, interview, and evaluate candidates
  • Coordinate interviews and New Hire Orientation
  • Build community recruiting partnerships
  • Improve recruiting strategies and hiring metrics
  • Create an exceptional onboarding experience
  • Facilitate orientation and help employees become "Ready for Scheduling"
  • Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Coach managers on employee relations and performance management
  • Foster a positive, professional workplace culture
  • Maintain employment records and HR documentation
  • Support benefits administration and payroll audits
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, CHAP standards, COMAR regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain personnel files, certifications, and required training records
  • Assist with investigations, performance documentation, and policy administration
  • Develop dashboards and workforce metrics
  • Analyze recruiting, retention, and turnover trends
  • Improve HR systems and workflows
  • Recommend process improvements that help our organization grow
