About The Position

CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper restaurants, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Specialist to join our team in an internship capacity. This position is unpaid and is based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX, with some WFH flexibility.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in progress (HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred)
  • Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze front-line worker headcount needs, including identifying the greatest geographical needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and the greatest local challenges.
  • Source candidates and present them to the hiring managers.
  • Calculate and track the ROI of the front-line worker recruiting program.
  • Data management, reporting, and analysis of other key TA metrics.
  • Create standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Managers with technical and vendor-related issues as needed.
  • Provide support to fun center and restaurant locations in the areas of backgrounds, job postings, ATS issues, and candidate updates, etc.
  • Provide support to candidates in the various stages of the pre-hire process.
  • Provide support to the Sales Center (opening positions through onboarding support).
  • Monitor and respond to messages sent to shared email inboxes, from internal and external sources.
  • Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Supports HR Managers with employee relations issues.
  • Assist with effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Adhere to all aspects of the firm’s HIPAA Policy, ensuring full compliance.
  • Process participant data updates.
  • Review and handle members' inquiries thoroughly and professionally.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives within Benefits Administration, as needed.
  • Assist in processes, systems, procedures, and materials to support all benefit program administration.
